Anglophone Minority Incentive

The Anglophone Minority Incentive is designed to support one of the CMF’s mandates of encouraging television convergent production by both majority and minority official-language sectors. As part of the CMF's Convergent Stream, projects funded must include content to be produced for distribution on at least two platforms, one of which must be television.

In the event that a large number of projects are submitted on the same date, creating demand overflow for a given program, the CMF may elect to distribute the available funding on a proportional (pro-rated) basis to those projects deemed eligible. For clarity, English language projects from Québec cannot access the English Regional Production Bonus.
