Innovation Program

Beginning in 2016-2017, applicants will have more options when applying for funding through the CMF’s Experimental Stream.

Projects funded through the Experimental Stream’s Innovation Program (“Innovation Program”) are Canadian interactive digital media content and software applications that are innovative and leading-edge. These Guidelines apply to the Innovative Program.

How To Apply

Applying for funding is easier than you might think. Carefully follow these steps to submit your application, and if you have any questions, please contact one of our program administrators.

      eTelefilm systems are migrating to a new platform to better serve our clients’ needs.

      At the moment, this change applies to applications for financing within the Experimental Stream’s Innovation Program, Commercial Projects Pilot Program and Web Series Pilot Program, and requires the creation of a new account, resulting in a one to two day delay prior to the submission of your applications.       Documents for Approved Applications

      If your application has been approved and you have received a Financing Agreement, applicants must visit our Approved Application Documents page to access and download additional materials, including Direct Deposit, Interim Financing, CMF logos and Phase II/Final Cost forms.
