The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Italian Directorate General for Cinema of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism (DGC - MiBACT) announced today the renewal of their incentive for codevelopment of documentary projects between Canadian and Italian producers. The announcement was made at an event organized by the Italian Trade Commission as part of the Toronto International Film Festival.

Toronto/Mons, September 8, 2016 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Wallimage, Wallonia, Belgium’s audiovisual content development fund, announced today a renewal of their incentive to encourage the coproduction of eligible interactive digital media projects between producers in Canada and Wallonia.

Toronto, July 5, 2016 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and NZ On Air announced today the program guidelines for the Canada – New Zealand Digital Media Fund. This program is the result of a renewed partnership, now in its third year, between both organizations to encourage the coproduction of digital media content. The budget for the program is CAD$800,000, with both organizations contributing an equal amount of funding.

Toronto (Canada) / Dungarvan (Ireland), April 20, 2016 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) announced today a new funding incentive for the development of audiovisual projects. A total of CAD$200,000 is being made available to support Irish and Canadian producers to develop coproductions for broadcast on Irish and Canadian television services.

Toronto (Canada)/Wellington (New Zealand), September 21, 2015 – Today, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) and NZ On Air (New Zealand) announced the renewal of their joint incentive for digital media coproduction. The total amount of funding available is $1M (CAD), with $500,000 contributed by each the CMF and NZ On Air to fund up to 3 eligible projects. The total maximum contribution for each funded project shall be CDN $400,000.
