Toronto, March 13, 2018—The Canada Media Fund’s (CMF) 2018 Trends Report, Future Shock is Now, is now available in Spanish, in addition to original English and French editions. The new Spanish version is intended to support a growing number of business relationships between Canada and Latin America, including CMF initiatives such as the Canada-Mexico Codevelopment Incentive for Television Series and the Canada-Colombia Codevelopment Incentive for Web Series or Other Digital Media Projects.

TORONTO, January 30, 2017 – Research released today by the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) in partnership with the Canada Media Fund (CMF) and other agencies and associations, finds that nearly 90 per cent of women respondents, working in Canada’s screen-based media sector, report facing gender-based obstacles to advancement in their career.
