A national study entitled “Are the Kids All Right?” that focuses on the TV-viewing habits of families with at least one child between the ages of nine and 12 concludes that the medium still has a beneficial social impact, just like it once had on nuclear families, right across the country. The study was conducted by a team of researchers under the supervision of Université de Montréal communications professor and Centre for Youth and Media Studies (CYMS) director, André H. Caron.
