The International Digital Media Co-Production Guide for Canadian Companies was created to help local interactive digital media and cross platform producers gain a better understanding of international digital media co-production. This guide focuses on France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Those countries were selected on the basis that they are frequent collaborators with Canada in audiovisual co-production.

This Guide is composed of two sections. First, the experiences of producers who have both successfully and unsuccessfully pursued international collaborations are presented to provide producers who are considering international co-production with some guidance on best practices and challenges they might encounter. The second section, titled Detailed Country Information, provides producers with country-specific information on where to start looking for partners, what funding might be available and what issues there might be with a co-production with that country.
