The Canada Media Fund’s Accessibility Support offers financial assistance for individuals who identify as Persons with disabilities in overcoming possible barriers during the application process to the CMF’s funding Programs.
Eligible Applicants may apply to Accessibility Support to cover costs for specific activities, such as completing a Persona-ID account, opening a Dialogue account to apply for funding, reading and understanding the CMF program guidelines and requirements, communicating with a CMF Program Administrator analyst, completing and submitting an online application or applying for Sector Development Support.
Accessibility Support will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis until funds are depleted, subject to a maximum contribution of $2,500 per application. Funds will be paid directly to service providers authorized and approved by the CMF.
Please note that to request Accessibility Support you need to contact us at least 6 weeks before the Program deadline or the opening date (deadline for Selective Programs and Performance and Development Envelopes and opening date for first-come first-served Programs).
