Producer in television, Catherine Viau is vice-president of the Via le Monde Group Inc., an audiovisual production consortium founded in 1967 by her partner Daniel Bertolino. With him, Catherine has produced all the films of the Group since 1983 in addition to ensuring the distribution of the catalog internationally and participating in major markets. She is also the author and director of several documentaries. In addition, she has initiated numerous international co-productions in the field of documentary, fiction and youth content. She also manages projects related to the preservation, digitization and marketing of the group's vast number of productions. Finally, she is in charge of the programming for Sherbrooke's Festival Cinéma du Monde since its creation in 2014.
