The Alternative Access funding for English Language Eligible Canadian Distributors appears to be oversubscribed, and the CMF is undergoing eligibility analysis of the submitted applications. Please be advised that although this option remains open in Dialogue, it is possible that any newly submitted applications may not be considered for funding.
The Distributor Envelope Program is designed to offer more flexibility to Applicants by allowing financial contributions from Eligible Canadian Distributors to unlock CMF production financing without the requirement of a Canadian Broadcaster.
Through this Program, the CMF allocates funding Envelope Allocations to Eligible Canadian Distributors with a track record of supporting Canadian programming. Eligible Canadian Distributors select which Eligible Projects may receive funds from their Envelope Allocation, with actual funding paid directly to Eligible Applicants according to a payment schedule.
