14 projects receive a total of $5.5M through the CMF’s English POV Program

Toronto, August 25, 2017 – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced today an investment of $5.5M to 14 convergent projects that applied for funding through the 2017-2018 English Point-of-View (POV) Program. The English POV Program is designed to encourage one-off point-of-view documentary production in the English-language market. 

All projects are feature-length. Two of the projects are from British Columbia, one from Nova Scotia, seven from Ontario and four from Québec. To view a list and description of new projects that received POV funding, please click here.

Including this round of funding, since 2010, the CMF has invested more than $31.2M in 118 projects that received funding through the English POV program.
