CMF welcomes appointment of Christa Dickenson as Executive Director of Telefilm Canada

Toronto, June 26, 2018 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) welcomes Minister Joly’s appointment of Christa Dickenson as Executive Director of Telefilm Canada.

“On behalf of the CMF, I would like to congratulate Christa on her nomination to the position,” said Valerie Creighton, President and CEO, CMF.

In addition to her previous experience as President and CEO of Interactive Ontario (IO), Christa brings two decades of experience in the screen-based sector. Having had a career spanning broadcast television, technology and telecommunications, Dickenson worked at Rogers, CTV and CPAC prior to joining IO. 

“I’m confident Christa’s talent for innovation coupled with her cultural policy advocacy experience will make her an effective leader, as Telefilm continues its important work of supporting successful Canadian feature film and talent.”
