Expression of Interest – CPH:DOX, Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival
Toronto, January 27, 2017 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Danish Film Institute (DFI) invite Canadian and Danish producers working on projects made for digital platforms to attend the upcoming CPH:DOX, Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, where both organizations will host matchmaking and networking events on March 20 and 21 to benefit producers from both countries seeking to establish coproduction partnerships. The CMF and DFI will also announce details of a partnership between Canada and Denmark.
CPH:DOX is the third largest documentary film festival in the world. Each year, the festival presents more than 200 films from around the world.
A number of Canadian and Danish producers and creators working on projects made for digital platforms will be selected to attend the festival. A financial contribution to cover a portion of the travel expenses will be provided to producers who are selected to participate in the Canadian delegation.
Producers and creators wishing to express their interest in participating at CPH:DOX can send their submission by filling out the form by February 10 (access the form), including a company profile, objectives for joining the delegation, a list of projects that could be co-created with Danish producers (with a short synopsis), and details on their experience with previous coproductions.
