New application management system for CMF’s Web Series Pilot Program
Toronto, December 5, 2016 – As announced a few months ago, the management of applications for the Canada Media Fund’s (CMF) programs through eTelefilm is gradually being migrated to a new platform. The Experimental Stream’s – Web Series Pilot Program is currently being integrated into the new system. The CMF would like to inform clients applying for CMF funding through this program that they are required to submit their application through the new application management system.
The closing date for the Experimental Stream’s – Web Series Pilot Program is January 17, 2017. Applications through the new system can be submitted starting December 14, 2016. For additional information on this program, please click here.
To submit an application, clients are required to create a new account, resulting in a one to two days delay prior to the submission of applications. Clients are therefore advised to create their accounts at least two days prior to the date they plan on submitting their applications for funding through the Experimental Stream – Web Series Pilot Program. Please note that the system will be closed between December 24 and January 2 for the Holidays. To create an account and submit an application, please click here.
Many producers who have recently applied for CMF funding under the Experimental Stream Innovation Program and the Commercial Projects Pilot Program are familiar with this new system. The CMF and the CMF Program Administrator – Telefilm Canada are modernizing their systems to enhance the user experience. This fully integrated system will be a one-stop-shop for applicants—allowing the CMF to better serve our clients’ needs.
