The Canada Media Fund Announces New Research Partnership with Screen Australia at Power to the Pixel’s Cross-Media Forum in London

London, October 17, 2012 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced a new resource for creators and producers of digital media content, resulting from a research partnership with Screen Australia and supported by Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA). The Transmedia Multiplatform and Convergent (TMC) Resource Kit was conceived, designed, and developed by Dr. Siobhan O’Flynn and Anthea Foyer.

Media producers in both countries will gain a greater understanding of existing examples of convergent, multi-platform and transmedia national and international projects as well as market intelligence on emergent technologies, platforms and practices. This vital resource can be found at http://www.tmcresourcekit.com/.

In launching the TMC Resource Kit today, Catalina Briceno, Director of Industry and Market Trends at the Canada Media Fund said: “This is a valuable resource for Canadian and Australian creators and producers who are working in the expanding digital media market. It is a website that will continue to evolve and add pertinent information for the industry.”

This market continues to grow and has become more prevalent within the Canadian and Australian landscapes, as well as internationally. The TMC Resource Kit is designed to help Australian and Canadian producers keep abreast of changes.
