Based in Winnipeg and Los Angeles, Fiasco Global Media is a female-led independent studio focused on scripted comedy and drama series. We believe television is for escapism: character-driven stories that cut through the noise—built to be rewatched, memed, and remembered. Entertainment first. Canada first. Real stakes. Big characters. Idealized worlds. Drama that lingers. Comedy that goes viral. Characters you don’t just invite in—they move in and rearrange the furniture.

The President of this Fiasco is Jennifer Beasley—a WGC-nominated writer and veteran producer. Her credits span two decades of Canadian hits including LESS THAN KIND (HBO Canada), CRA$H and BURN (Showcase), MEN WITH BROOMS (CBC), and THE SPENCER SISTERS (Bell Media). She is also currently Executive Producing ACTING GOOD (Bell Media/APTN), the groundbreaking Indigenous-led broad family comedy now entering its fourth season and ranked as one of CTV Comedy's most-watched comedies. On the film side, she most recently Executive Produced RUMOURS (Cannes 2025), the surreal horror satire starring Cate Blanchett.

Fiasco’s development is led by Burrad Marsh, a former literary agent and seasoned executive who has spearheaded series at major independent studios
across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. His cross-border work includes FLASHPOINT (CBS/Paramount), 18 TO LIFE (ABC/CW/CBC), and CARTER (CTV/SONY/WGN). His experience spans formats, genres, and markets—with a sharp eye for commercial storytelling that travels.

Octavio Trillos

Octavio Trillos is a lawyer, screenwriter and novelist from Venezuela. He currently resides in Montreal, Canada. He practiced Corporate and Criminal Law for five years before devoting himself fully to studying cinema, specializing in screenwriting and production. He won an award in Italy from the Veneto Film Commission for his original screenplay, “The Weight of the Air”, and another award (mentorship program) from QEPC and CMF for his originial TV series “Oden’s Law”. These industry recognitions showcase his ability and talent to create and write compelling and highly-marketable stories.

Mighty was born in April 2012 In Guadalajara, Jalisco. Founded by Luispa Salmón and Claudio Jimenez, Mighty started as a boutique studio with the goal of producing original animated content.

entertainment industry, we appreciate how much they have inspired us and we're grateful for everything we've learned. Together, with our crew members, we have grown and evolved significantly throughout the years.

Symmetry Break is an indie studio founded by three university friends and based in Hamburg, Germany, driven by the passion to tell good stories and to find new forms of expression.

The work we do involves artistic games and interactive media that make use of unique design and storytelling techniques to promote mental health awareness, emotional intelligence and mutual acceptance. We also produce in-house tools and assets to promote the creativity of other devs.
