16 content creators to receive nearly $320K through Digital Creators Pilot Program
Toronto, March 12, 2025 — The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced the 2024-2025 cohort of 16 content creators selected for funding through the second edition of our Digital Creators Pilot Program.
Launched in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, the program supports the growth trajectory of mid-career Canadian digital content creators making short-form video content exclusively on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
12 of the 16 approved applicants create content in English, and four work in French. Five are based in Ontario, four in Quebec, four in British Columbia, two in Alberta, and one in Manitoba. Together, they have garnered more than 6 million subscribers and a over 900 million views of their video output across all their channels.
