Eligible Projects must be in one of three CRTC Programming categories: Category 1 (News), Category 2a (Analysis and interpretation), or Category 11a (General entertainment and human interest). Projects must also have a CRTC "C" certification as a domestic Canadian Program.
Amongst other eligibility criteria, only producers who have not previously received a funding commitment from the CMF’s Convergent Stream, Experimental Stream, or Sector Development Program are eligible to apply.
