CMF announces seven funding decisions in partnership with the Québecor Fund
Toronto, May 26, 2023 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced seven funding decisions through the CMF-Quebecor Fund Intellectual Properties Intended for International Markets Production Support Program.
In total, the CMF will invest close to $627,000 across the following series:

CMF-Québecor Export Assistance Program Partnership
Furthermore, the CMF and the Fonds Québecor are happy to announce the renewal of their Export Assistance Program Partnership. Through this partnership, the two funders support export initiatives to develop audiovisual content adapted to markets outside Quebec and internationally, as well as marketing efforts. Production companies interested in applying for funding can do so on the Québecor Fund’s website.

About the Québecor Fund
The Québecor Fund is a non-profit private fund established by Videotron Ltd., which provides nearly $5.5 million annually in broadcasting distribution undertaking (BDU) contributions to Canada’s film and television industry. Its mission is to support the development, production, marketing and export of high-quality content and its exploitation on various platforms.
To date, Quebecor Fund’s programs have paid out a total of more than $130 million. The Board of Directors is responsible for all decisions pertaining to the Fund, including its priorities, and is entirely and exclusively responsible for its funding decisions.
