Launched in 2021 the Slate Development Pilot Program offers more flexibility to Eligible Applicants and allow them to choose and fund their development projects without the requirement of an attached Canadian Broadcaster (or other activating entity). Since the program's inception, nearly $14.4M were allocated in development funding to a total of 182 productions companies.
