The Distributor Envelope Program is designed to offer more flexibility to Applicants by allowing financial contributions from Eligible Canadian Distributors to unlock CMF production financing without the requirement of a Canadian Broadcaster.
Through this Program, the CMF allocates funding Envelope Allocations to Eligible Canadian Distributors with a track record of supporting Canadian programming. Eligible Canadian Distributors select which Eligible Projects may receive funds from their Envelope Allocation, with actual funding paid directly to Eligible Applicants according to a payment schedule.
