CMF invests $394K in the careers of 21 digital content creators
Toronto, February 6, 2026 — The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced the 21 digital content creators who will receive a total of $394,000 in funding through the third edition of our Digital Creators Pilot Program (DCPP).
Launched in the 2023–2024 fiscal year, the DCPP supports the growth trajectory of mid-career Canadian digital content creators making short-form video content exclusively on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
14 of the successful applicants will create content in English, and seven in French. 10 hail from Quebec, six are from Ontario, and five are established in British Columbia.
The 21 creators were chosen through a selective process led by a jury of peers from the digital creation ecosystem and CMF Program Administrator analysts. The jury was comprised of Gina Desjardins, Laurence Grondin-Robillard, Emilia King, Jennifer Park, Nathan Sing, and Nicolas St-Cyr.
