Over 1 million views on Encore+: Canadian and world audiences keep coming back for more
Toronto, February 26, 2018 – Encore+, a YouTube channel showcasing iconic Canadian content from years gone by, continues to garner an impressive following and viewership rate in just over three months since its launch, this past November 2017. As of today, more than 14K YouTube users have subscribed to the channel and have viewed videos nearly 1.3M times, totalling more than 169K hours of viewed content. Enthusiastic Encore+ community members continue to engage, suggesting various films and TV shows they would like to see listed on the channel or new episodes added.
Since launch, the offer of content on Encore+ has continued to grow, with new iconic titles added on an ongoing basis. Among the titles that are being made available in the coming weeks, we find: A Kid’s View of Canada, Due South (Season 2), Il Duce Canadese : Le Mussolini Canadien, Mocassin Flats (Seasons 2 and 3), Ready or Not (Season 2), Slings & Arrows (Season 3), and Sous l’abre parasol.
The channel continues to feature fan-favourites with recent additions such as René Lévesque and Little Mosque on the Prairie, among many others.
