Re-designed CMF website offers modern user experience and enhanced functionalities
Toronto, January 26, 2017 – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) unveiled today its new, completely re-designed website cmf-fmc.ca which now offers a simple, intuitive user experience that is fully accessible across all devices and screen sizes. Enhanced functionalities and streamlined navigation also allow users to seamlessly find information on the CMF’s various programs and activities.
“The efforts to redesign the CMF website were supported by the valuable feedback from industry stakeholders who use the website on a regular basis,” stated Valerie Creighton, President and CEO, CMF. “The site's new features offer an enhanced and streamlined navigation experience, which are based on the latest web ergonomics and responsive design best practices.”
The new design eliminates many of the steps required to find information users seek regularly, in particular information related to CMF programs, guidelines and deadlines. Visually, the website puts an emphasis on the exceptional Canadian content the CMF invests in.
In addition, the new and improved cmf-fmc.ca provides easy access to the dynamic content on the CMF’s web property dedicated to industry and market trends at CMF Trends, and the website dedicated to the promotion of Canadian content, Eye On Canada.
Other new features include an enhanced industry events calendar, renovated program pages, and an improved funded projects database.
