Register to attend CMF focus group—registration now live

Toronto, August 17, 2015— As announced on June 30, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) will embark on a cross-country consultation starting on September 9 in Toronto as part of a comprehensive consultation process. The consultation includes focus groups in 18 cities, in all provinces and territories. The following calendar was updated to reflect times and locations for each focus group.

During the focus groups, all CMF stakeholders will have an opportunity to consider how significant shifts in content consumption habits, rapidly evolving market conditions and regulatory changes as a result of the CRTC’s Let’s Talk TV proceeding will impact the CMF’s  funding programs.

Feedback received from stakeholders will contribute to shaping CMF policy and programs for 2016-2017 and beyond.

The CMF’s focus groups will be led by Valerie Creighton, President and CEO, Stéphane Cardin, Vice President, Industry and Public Affairs or Nathalie Clermont, Director of Program Management.

If you would like to attend one of the consultation sessions, please register by clicking here. Each focus group will last between two to three hours.
