“The stories we tell shape who we are” says new CMF brand video

Toronto, May 28, 2024 – Ahead of the Canadian Screen Awards, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) today unveiled a refreshed brand video. Voiced by Schitt’s Creek and Fitting In actor Emily Hampshire, the new video emphasizes that Indigenous and Canadian stories not only say a lot about us—they shape who we are.

Showcasing more than 15 CMF-funded productions across the Documentary, Children & Youth, Drama, and Variety & Performing Arts genres, the video will air during the Canadian Screen Awards 2024 broadcast and will be featured across the CMF’s digital media footprint.

The video was created by Vancouver-based creative agency 123W.
