Valerie Creighton to receive Lifetime Achievement Award from University of Regina

Valerie Creighton, President and CEO of the Canada Media Fund, is to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from her alma mater, the University of Regina.

An advocate for the arts and creative industries, Valerie is awarded this recognition for her ”visionary leadership for some of the country’s most important arts and culture institutions. She is recognized nationally and internationally for her contributions to the film and television industry, and leadership in the arts.”

For her lifelong career in advancing Canada’s cultural industries, Valerie has received numerous accolades, including being inducted into the Order of Canada and the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.
