Change to the Application Submission Process

Toronto, August 8, 2013 – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced today that it is migrating its application process for its programs to the online service eTelefilm as of Monday, September 30th, 2013. As of this date, the CMF will no longer accept hardcopy (paper) applications. This change applies only to applicants that have not already submitted applications through eTelefilm up until now.

ETelefim is a simple and secure website that provides applicants with updated information about the status of their application and is available seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 12 a.m. ET.

Please note that CMF supporting documents, helpful tools and Phase II/Final Cost reporting will continue to be available through the CMF website under Funding Programs.

Applicants who have not done so already must open a permanent account with eTelefilm in order to register and then submit their application. Once they have submitted a registration request, applicants will receive an activation link by email and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) by mail within five business days . This information will allow the applicant to open a permanent account that can then be used by the same applicant for any number of applications they submit thereafter.
